Popular Types of Bowling Shirts For Today's Modern Bowlers

Bowling shirts regularly have a certain retro, 50's era feel, that immediately makes one cheerful and puts one in the mood for bowling.
The classic bowling shirt is still one of the hottest styles of bowling shirts, worn today. Classic styles are usually solid in color ( with a contrasting color for piping ), button up the front with plastic buttons, contain 2 front pockets and a have a contrasting coloured collar. Personalised classic bowling shirts frequently have team trademarks on the back and the players name or nickname stitched above one of the front pockets.
The most obvious use of a bowling, shirt is to differentiate between individual bowlers or groups of bowlers in a competition. If each team has its own color or pattern of shirt and each bowling team member has his or her name on their shirt, then it is easy for spectators to follow the action in the different competitions.
A bowling shirt that is too loose hazards the fabric getting in the way of arm movement or the ball itself. Bowling shirts should permit free arm movement. After all, if a bowler can't swing their arm then they actually can't bowl.
Another nice advantage of bowling shirts is their comfort. Many of them are made of cotton or a cotton blend. Someone in a pro bowling shirt is apt to be much more content than someone in average clothing. If a bowler is uncomfortable in any way it could be a distraction and hurt their game.

Retro bowling shirts are like the classic styles, only they contain metal buttons down the front, have only one front pocket and have contrasting colored front panels and sleeves.
Bowling shirts can also be created using modern polo shirts or even t-shirts for people that just want to have a great time at the great sport of bowling.
